DAVID Beckham celebrates his 41st birthday today.

And Victoria and Brooklyn Beckham wished him a Happy Birthday with some very sweet messages.

Brooklyn Beckham called his dad David Beckham his "hero" [Brooklyn Beckham/Instagram]

David's eldest son described his dad as his "hero" in a heartfelt Instagram post.

Along with a black and white snap of himself and his dad sat on a gate, Brooklyn wrote: "Happy birthday dad. I'm so lucky to have a dad and a hero all in one! Love you so much."

Victoria also shared a lovely message to her husband.

The Spice Girl posted a picture of David surrounded by all of his beautifully wrapped presents on Instagram.
