Kylie Jenner Just Unveiled Her Mysterious Hip Tattoo

While you were enjoying winter break and eating cookies at home in your pajamas, Kylie Jenner was busy keeping us entertained on Instagram – it's a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

The 18-year-old had all of her fans puzzled when she finally unveiled that hip tattoo she teased on Snapchat back in November. And while we've since seen the mini red heart tattoo on her upper left arm, and we know Kylie even played tattoo artist herself, adding to NYC tattoo artist Bang Bang's own ink collection, her hip tattoo was still a mystery.
But Kylie answered that question (and promptly caused us all to ask some more questions) when she showed off an up-close picture of her not-so-new ink. The social media star posed in camouflage leggings, putting her tiny red tattoo, which reads "|'sa-nə-tē|," on full display. Though it had fans confused at first, it appears Kylie's new tattoo is the phonetic spelling of the word "sanity," which is probably pretty hard to maintain when you're so famous the whole world can actually read about your new tattoo.

Once we figured out what it said, the meaning behind the new ink seemed pretty self-explanatory. But Kylie's second red tattoo does have us wondering if (and hoping that) maybe a red Lip Kit is in the near future – it seems to be her new go-to color, after all.
