Messi involved in new tax evasion case

Lionel Messi.
Barcelona Argentine, and other big names, to be investigated
Lionel Messi's financial situation is being looked into again for his involvement in using a corporation in Panama to hide assets.
This comes after already having been accused of tax evasion in Spain.

According to La Sexta and El Confidencial, the Barcelona No.10 created a Panamanian corporation alongside his father just one day after Spanish authorities said he evaded 4.1 million euros.
Messi is not the only big name involved in the scandal currently being uncovered by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).

Others within the world of football include Michel Platini, expresident of UEFA, and Ivan Zamorano, a former Real Madrid player.
The investigation goes beyond the world of sport, however. The accusations span from Russian President Vladimir Putin to well known Spanish film director Pedro Almodovar.
