Irish-born Eimear Ni Ghiallgairrh, 29, was also hit with fines and legal costs totalling £150.
She began stripping off in the customs area of Stansted airport, Essex, a court heard.

However, by the time she had removed her skirt and was standing in her black tights two police officers intervened.

Her lawyer, Sarah Steggles, told Chelmsford magistrates: “She found the whole experience distressing.
"Her behaviour was exuberance, calling attention to herself in a security search.
“Two officers were deployed and she found herself in custody for 12 hours where there were no windows and no air.

“She’s articulate, intelligent and petite and two large officers arrested her.
"She suffered a bone fracture while being arrested.”
Ni Ghiallgairrh, of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour and criminal damage.

The damage came after her arrest when she ripped up a police code of practice in her cell.
Prosecutor Karen Phillips told the court the incident happened on January 21 when Ni Ghiallgairrh was “running late for a flight to Ireland” and was then held up in security.
Miss Phillips said she became “frustrated at the situation”, adding: “She refused to be searched, became heated, got agitated and removed her skirt, standing in her tights.

"Members of the public around her were distressed because she was undressing. She also banged on the desk angrily.”
Ni Ghiallgairrh, whose arm is still in plaster, was fined £80, with a £20 victim surcharge and £50 costs. She was given 28 days to pay or face seven days in jail.
Speaking after the case she said: “I feel victimised, demonised. I can’t pay my bills.
"I’m not on benefits and I can’t work. This is police brutality. I feel abused by the police.”
