Ronaldo's false alarm in training

Real Madrid Portuguese will be fit for the final despite collision
Real Madrid suffered an injury scare with Cristiano Ronaldo in training on Tuesday, but the Portuguese forward will be fit for Saturday's Champions League final.

Los Blancos face city rivals Atletico in Milan's Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and, although Ronaldo completed the session at the club's Valdebebas complex, there were fears over his participation in the game.

He was involved in a heavy collision with goalkeeper Kike Casilla, having to receive treatment on his left thigh on the field and again in the dressing room.

The Champions League's top scorer this season, with 16 goals, has struggled with injury in recent weeks, having to sit out the first leg of their semi-final against Manchester City in late April.

With him in the side, Real have a much better chance of repeating their success from two years ago, when they defeated Atletico in Lisbon to lift an historic tenth European Cup.
