Nicole Kidman was not invited to her daughter Bella's wedding, even though she was staying nearby, it has been claimed.
The
hair and make-up artist wed her boyfriend of less than a year, Max
Parker, in a small Scientology ceremony at London's upmarket Dorchester
Hotel last month.
Her
father Tom Cruise is said to have funded the 22-year-old's intimate
nuptials, and there are conflicting reports as to whether he was there.
But Kidman was not on the guest list and, according to Page Six,
didn't even know her adopted daughter was tying the knot - even though
she was in London preparing for her appearance on stage in the West End.

Not invited: Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, seen together at the Oscars
in 2000, adopted Bella in the 1990s. Reports claim the wedding was
organized so Cruise could attend, but Kidman was left off the guest list
entirely.

A
source told the New York Post: 'The wedding was a Scientology ceremony.
Nicole wasn’t there — she didn’t even know about it at all.'
They claimed the ceremony on September the 18 had been organised so Cruise could attend, as he was in Europe at the time.
Kidman is currently starring in Photograph 51 at the Noel Coward Theatre.
Initial
reports suggested the couple didn't want either sets of parents to
attend. But there was a suggestion the Mission Impossible star was there
to give his blessings.
Only
a small group of close friends were present for the wedding, with
Bella's brother Connor also not attending in a bid to keep the wedding
out of the limelight.
Bella, 22, and her IT consultant boyfriend exchanged vows in one of the five-star establishment's function rooms.
Australia's Woman's Day magazine, broke the news of the wedding.
Isabella
is believed to have been introduced to her beau through mutual friends,
with the pair beginning to date earlier this year.
