Hazard talks Chelsea exit

BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH ace Thorgan Hazard has revealed he left Chelsea because he didn't want to be in the shadow of his older brother Eden.

Thorgan, 22, signed for the Premier League champions in 2012 from French side Lens a month after his brother made the move to west London.

However, he failed to make a single appearance for the Blues and departed Stamford Bridge in February.
Eden, unlike his younger sibling, has been a revelation for Jose Mourinho's side, scoring 49 goals and notching 49 assists in 173 appearances.
Thorgan is thrilled with the success his brother has had with the Blues and has admitted that was a contributing factor to his move away from the Bridge.

“I thought it would be hard at Chelsea, being Eden’s brother,” the 22-year-old told The Times.
“It is for this that I stayed only for one month there and then left on loan. I want to go my own way.
“Before going to Belgium, I was just the brother of Eden. In Belgium I showed what I can do myself.
“Afterwards they did not say they did not say that I was Eden’s brother.”

Hazard, who is expected to face Manchester City tonight, is pleased with his move to Monchengladbach and believes he is learning a lot from playing regular first-team football.
"It is important to be playing," he told The Sun.
"I'm 22 and I need to play and learn.
"I am learning a lot with this team. Sometimes it is difficult but in the last two years I have played a lot of games."
