A CHRISTIAN priest who was tortured by Islamist fanatics has revealed how they asked him for advice about SEX in between horrific bouts of cruelty.

Father Douglas Bazi told Express.co.uk that insecure jihadis begged him for words of wisdom over how to satisfy their wives as he lay battered and beaten in a dingy cell.

The clergyman was brutally tortured for nine days by al-Qaeda militants he claims were targeting Christian priests with the knowledge of the corrupt Iraqi government.
The sadistic fanatics knocked his teeth out with a hammer, broke his back and threatened to cut his head off and send it to his family.
But the peaceful priest revealed how his torturers were also wracked with insecurities and secretly turned to him as a spiritual leader when their superiors were not looking.
He told Express.co.uk: "During the day I was a spiritual father to them. They used to ask me questions, private questions. One of them asked me about what can I do with my wife she's always picky, I told him you have to show her love.
"It was bizarre - I said to him I'm giving you advice on your love life but here I am in chains."
The troubled priest was captured by Islamist militants in a planned raid as he made his way to a friend's house after taking Mass in November 2006.
Two cars blocked off the road before gun-toting jihadis dragged him from his vehicle, threw him in the boot and sped off.
The fighters - who Father Bazi says were wearing Iraqi government uniforms and had access to state police cars and ambulances - then began their campaign of torture as they attempted to secure a huge ransom payout from the church.

He revealed: "When I arrived they took me outside and I found myself on the ground with a lot of blood on my face. One of them hit me with his knee to my face and back and broke my nose. Then they took me inside and they brought chains and I spent nine days there in this way.
"My cell was a tiny toilet and my head had to rest in the sink. After the second day they used a hammer and they started to break my teeth. There was blood in my mouth and when I spat my teeth and blood came out. One of them told me 'don't be worried, you have a lot of teeth and we have all night'.
"They hit me in my shoulder and my back and they broke one of the discs in my back. At one point they said they were going to cut off my head and put the head of a dog in its place then send it to my relatives.
"Even now I never go to my bed without being sure theres a bottle of water near my bed because they left me without water for days. They were a horrible nine days."

The terrorists demanded an eye-watering one million dollar ransom fee for the priest, but released him after learning he was prepared to become a "martyr" for persecuted Christians in the region.
Worryingly Father Bazi - a member of the Chaldean branch of Christianity - revealed how once-again resurgent al-Qaeda were hellbent on wiping the faith off the map with the help of the Iraqi government.
He said: "They are a gang but they are working for the government. They were wearing government military uniforms with black t-shirts over the top and they told me they were using police cars, ambulances, that they knew about checkpoints in advance.
"They told me we don't now you personally but we have a list and this is your name and there's a number and that was their reward for capturing me."
The clergyman added that the Islamists had launched a co-ordinated campaign nationwide targeting Christians, including a bomb attack on his own church during which he was shot in the knee.
He revealed: "First of all they blew up the churches to push people to escape, but they found the people became stronger. When they blew up my church it was 4pm and it was Mass at 5pm.
"Even though the people heard about the bomb they still came to church and even though we couldn't hold Mass in the church we prayed outside.
"So they changed their strategy to hit the shepherd so the flock would be gone - that's when they started kidnapping and killing priests."
Christians have been routinely persecuted and killed by Islamist militants including al-Qaeda and, more recently, fanatical Islamic State (ISIS).
The Christian population of Iraq has plummeted from two million in 2003 to just 180,000 today.
In a series of interviews with Express.co.uk, Father Bazi has warned how ISIS is forcing hundreds of thousands of Christians to flee and said Tony Blair's disastrous Iraq War sparked a "mass genocide" which has swept across the Middle East.
A Syrian archbishop recently warned that the religion could be completely eradicated from the region in just five years if the situation does not improve.
