Massimiliano
Allegri has banned talk of Paul Pogba’s future.
The
Juventus coach refused to speak about the £100m Manchester United target’s
future ahead of the Italian champions’ friendly clash with Tottenham in
Melbourne.
When
asked by Sportsmail for an update on Pogba’s situation and whether he thought
the Frenchman would be with the club at the start of the season, Allegri
revealed that he would not speak any more on the matter.
'I
am not going to talk about the transfer market news we are just here to get
ready,' he said.
'The
club is going to talk about the transfer market and they are doing very well so
I am happy in that regard.'
Allegri, however, did comment on
Tuesday night’s match against Spurs at the iconic MCG.
He believes that the fixture will be of
higher intensity than Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Melbourne Victory at the same
venue.
‘Expect more intensity,’ he said. ‘We
are going to see a very different and more intense game.’
