A man has died after being stabbed outside a Tube
station in east London.
Police were called at 10.35pm on Friday evening
after a man, believed to be in his 30s, was knifed in the chest on Cambridge
Heath Road next to Bethnal Green underground station.
He was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital
but was pronounced dead an hour later.
Photographs posted on social media showed a
police cordon on the road with a number of police officers at the scene.
The man's next of kin have not been informed and
formal identification is yet to take place, police said.
No arrests have been made and police said they
were continuing with their inquiries.
