Cristiano Ronaldo joins Conor McGregor at Las Vegas training camp as Irishman prepares for comeback at UFC 202

Two men at the very top of their respective sports came to blows in the Octagon on Sunday as Cristiano Ronaldo paid Conor McGregor a visit in Las Vegas.

Ronaldo, enjoying his break after a memorable Euro 2016 campaign, is on holiday in America and took some time out to meet the Irishman as he prepares for a long-awaited return to UFC.

Always happy to whip off his t-shirt for a photo, a heavily-tanned Ronaldo posed in the octagon for a dramatic fight snap with McGregor, just imagine the pay-per-view figures on that one.

Posting on Instagram, the Real Madrid superstar wrote 'Great to see you bro', while another picture of Ronaldo was later shared by McGregor's coach John Kavanagh.

McGregor also posted his own image of himself and the ripped Ronaldo, with the caption: 'My brother Ronaldo dropped by the gym today. He is an animal.

'Thank you @cristiano, much respect! I will see you for that Forbes number 1 spot next year.'
