| Champions League Sporting director analyses Champions League draw |
Manchester City's sporting director Txiki Begiristain analysed the Champions League draw which paired his side with Real Madrid.
Los Blancos are contesting their sixth successive semifinal in the
competition and are a team that Begiristain considers to be the
favourite.
"Madrid is capable of winning both ties, it's frightening.
"It will be difficult, they've shown that they can turn things
around," he said, in reference to the comeback win against Wolfsburg in
the quarterfinal.
"We have seen that at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu they can be unstoppable. It's a great tie."
The former Barcelona
player praised Real and their great record in the competition however,
he still placed trust in his team's chances and hopes that Manuel
Pellegrini and his players are successful.
"If we are strong and active up front we can eliminate them."
