THERE IS a reason they tell you to ‘mind the doors’. For many urban-dwellers, the daily commute is somewhat of a battle. 

When peak hour strikes, busses and trains are bursting with bustling crowds. 

Being sandwiched onto a tube isn’t an ideal start or end to anyone’s day. 

But one unlucky commuter has really felt the pinch. 

A cringe-inducing clip has emerged of a gent who paid the ultimate price of pushing on to public transport.

The video shows the young man stepping on to an overcrowded train.

As the door slam shut, some crucial parts of the passenger’s anatomy cop a brutal blow.

Screams of pain are audible as the man’s face and private parts seem to be sandwiched in the doors. 

Other passengers reach to help the man, and the doors eventually open after what could have only been an excruciating few seconds. 

As the doors reopen, the man steps out on the platform clutching his crotch. 

The clip was posted on LiveLeak earlier today. 

It was filmed at a train station in Jakarta, Indonesia.
