The Bachelorette's Shawn Booth Plans to Propose to Kaitlyn Bristowe for a Second Time: Details

Two proposals are better than one! The Bachelorette alums Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth tell Us Weekly exclusively that Booth is planning to pop the question soon — for a second time.
The couple spoke to Us at a recent Dunkin' Donuts event, where the Nashville-based personal trainer revealed that he plans on doing a "separate proposal," away from ABC's camera crew. The couple got engaged when he took a knee on The Bachelorette's season 11 finale that aired last July.
"We used the show to meet each other and find each other, but we really started dating after the show," Booth, 28, says to explain why popping the question again seems appropriate.

Bristowe, 30, adds that she, too, looks forward to a second proposal that feels more natural.
"When I pictured a guy proposing to me, I don’t picture knowing it’s coming and cameras," the dance teacher says. "I want to be surprised — I’m not going to say how I want it because I don’t know. But just being surprised and having that emotion, like, ‘Oh, my God!'"

The pair are currently renting a home in Nashville for six months but plan to spend the summer in her hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia, before heading back to the Music City to find a permanent residence. And Booth appreciates that things have settled down and that they now feel like a regular couple. They even enjoy going grocery shopping together: "We make that fun."
One thing they aren't doing is watching Ben Higgins on The Bachelor's current season, as they're not ready to revisit that world on a weekly basis just yet. However, Booth calls Higgins a "great" choice as the series’ star and reveals that he talks to the software salesman every day.
As for the wedding, the couple say it will happen eventually, but the lovebirds aren't feeling in a rush to move things along.
"I already know that we will [get married], so it’s like, I can’t imagine planning a wedding right now," Bristowe says. "We just don’t have the time or the energy right now."
