HOTEL heiress Paris Hilton appears to be trying hard to keep up with old friend Kim Kardashian after posing for her very own Paper magazine photo shoot.

The 35-year-old is one of four cover stars for the publication's Fandemonium issue, which also features Chloe Sevigny, Lucy Hale, and Marc Jacobs' dog Neville. 

In the issue, Paris poses in a backless gold jumpsuit which exposes her derrière, rivalling the Kardashian's half naked, champagne shot for the magazine which broke the internet last year.

The metallic garment features a zip down the front and is tied to the star in neat bows down her arms, legs and across her back.
Paris' hair is slicked back from her face and she's wearing plenty of black eyeliner and matching lipstick in the avant garde shoot.

She graces the cover in a white fur coat, sitting regally with her arms folded across her legs as she stars vacantly into the distance.

The rest of the sexy shoot sees Paris a bit more covered up, but it's far from conservative.
In one shot, Paris is wearing a PVC style leather dress with side panel cut outs and a thigh high split, which she draws attention to as she touches her leg with her perfectly polished manicure. 
The raunchy shoot also see The Simple Life star in leather shorts and garter with an oversize black leather coat open to reveal her bare chest.

Paris and Kim were best friends until around 2007. They both shot to fame thanks to sex tapes, with Kim's coming out just eight month's before the first episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashian's aired. 
As the Kardashian became famous in her own right, the pair started to drift apart with Paris telling a Las Vegas Radio station: "I would not want Kim's butt - it's gross! It reminds me of cottage cheese inside a big trash bag."
Recently, however, Paris has said that she is "happy" that Kim was expecting a baby with Kanye West.
Paper magazine revealed it decided to choose four Fandemonium cover stars due to their popularity with fans.
On their website they posted: "We can't believe it has been a year since our Break The Internet issue
"Though Kim Kardashian and Paper are most connected with the web-melting, culture-shaping magic that was that issue, we think it was the fans who deserve the kudos. 
"They took their social media channels, created memes, and spread the story like wildfire. They made it their story.
"To show our appreciation, we decided to devote this year's Break The Internet issue to the fans."
